Pinkfresh Studio "The Simple Things" Release Blog Hop

Hello crafty friends!
Pinkfresh Studio has just released another fabulous collection of products. The very title, The Simple Things, speaks to the idea of returning to the essensce of simplicity, creating designs that are simple, yet at the same time filled with beauty.
Let's get crafty and talk about cards.
For today's post I've created a trio of cards with the new Gentle Bloomscape die and coordinating stencils :

I started ink blending an A2 white note panel with the Gentle Bloomscape layering stencils with Sunshine, Sweet Mustard, Candy Apple, Eucalyptus, Olive and Evergreen. the process with these layering stencils and die is really forgiving and you can go light handed or heavy handed when applying your colors creating some contrast between all the blooms.
Once all the flowers and leaves were cut out, I used the Leafy Loops Coverplate die to add its beautiful texture to another A2 panel with I cut out again into four small panels to accomodate my flowers.
Lastly I ink blended the edge of my cardbase with the same colors of my flowers.

I was having so much fun creating these flowers that I decided to bring some more flowers to life. This time I added Cherry Blossom, Peony and a hint of Sunkissed.
This time I arranged my flowers vertically, dry embossed the Dragonfly Dreams press plate on the right hand side and inked it up with the coordinating stencils.

For my third and final card, I used the new Oval Rhythm Coverplate die to add some texture to the background, ink blended the edges with Eucalyptus, Sweet Mustard and Begonia and arranged my flowers all around the card. I also used the super cute dragonfly from the DragonFly Dreams stamp set
and colored it with Sweet Mustard and Candy Apple.
All the sentiments I used in these cards are from the new Simply said stamp and die set.

I really hope you feel inspired by these cards and believe when I tell you I had a blast creating them!

Beautiful job! Love how you used the gentle bloomscape products!
Gentle blooms scape is just what I needed to see before winter comes, it's the perfect little flower set to go out with fall and into winter. Love all the inspiration too.
Absolutely gorgeous!
That touch of blending the colors of the flowers onto the edges of the card... shows me that you are an artist. That extra something to showcase those Pinkfresh Studio products. Beautiful.
Gorgeous cards- all of them.
